Tern Agency

We have many of our travelers who love the Tern mobile app and show it off while traveling, we want our logo right up top so they know who put this together for them and we can get lead gen. from that.

The logo, agency name, cover photo, etc should carry over from host account when inviting an advisor. They can edit them, but this would save time for the new agent to set up their account.

It seems that you can choose suppliers that anyone using Tern has entered - this has made it a nightmare for reporting purposes. There are roughly 6+ ways to choose Walt Disney World as the supplier (for example) and that is hurting reporting for how much of each destination we are selling!

Would love if updates to the emails within the workflows would update across the agency. Currently, if I make an update to an email within a workflow, in order for agents to get the update, they have to either clutter up their email templates by copying just the email that changed and then swap out the email in the workflow and apply the changes, or remove the workflow entirely, recopy and apply updates. It's been challenging to walk agents through how to do this, since all the workflows were initially set up by myself.

We propose the development and implementation of a seamless integration between Tern and major host agency/franchise systems. This feature would allow for automatic data synchronization, reducing the need for duplicate data entry and ensuring that all relevant booking, client, and commission information flows effortlessly between Tern and the host agency's systems. Such an integration would significantly enhance operational efficiency, saving time for travel advisors and agency owners who currently must manually input data into multiple platforms. This would not only streamline workflow processes but also reduce the likelihood of errors, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems. Additionally, this integration would provide real-time updates and transparency for both the advisors and the host agency, facilitating better communication and collaboration. Advisors could focus more on client interactions and trip planning, knowing that their data is accurately reflected in all necessary systems. The integration could support various aspects such as commission tracking, client relationship management (CRM), booking details, and financial reconciliation. With the integration, host agencies can maintain a centralized overview of their advisors' activities and performance, enhancing their ability to provide support and training. Overall, this feature would position Tern as a highly efficient and user-friendly platform, making it an indispensable tool for travel agencies operating under host or franchise models. To further tailor the integration to the needs of individual agencies, we suggest incorporating a flexible upload timing feature. This would allow agencies to determine the specific point at which data should be uploaded to the host agency's system. Options could include uploading data at the time of trip approval, booking agreement, or when a deposit is paid. This customization ensures that the integration aligns perfectly with the operational workflows and preferences of each agency, providing maximum control and convenience. By allowing agencies to set their preferred upload timing, Tern can better accommodate diverse business practices and enhance user satisfaction.

Right now, the sender box is free form, which can lead to reporting errors. This should be like everywhere else that suppliers appear and be a drop down that shows the options that the agency uses.

I’d like to request a feature that enables a permission option allowing anyone on my team—or users with a specific role-based permission—to edit my templates. When this permission is toggled on, any team member would be able to edit or update data within the library template. This functionality would be particularly helpful for tasks such as: Updating or adding room types for a hotel Changing consortia amenities Adding or correcting information This flexibility would streamline collaboration and ensure that templates remain accurate and up to date.

I would like for my agents to get an automated invoice when I mark trips as paid. Currently, they receive a notification from quickbook that a payment is coming and I mark them paid in Tern, but they don't receive a report of what trips were actually paid out. Our previous CRM gave a report with a breakdown of each booking included in a commission payment.

I would LOVE to have the ability to create a commission report for the Agency broken down on one single report by agent and with each paying out booking listed with a total agent commission tabulation and an agency commission tabulation.

I'd like to see an option where we could add an optional text box for us to add a tagline or slogan under our company name in our advisor contact/info blocks that appear on itineraries? That space between our company name and our email address. It would just add a little more branding opportunity to be able to do this and fill that space.
