Tern Feature Requests

I would like there to be an automated status called "Client Traveling" where trips are automatically moved to this status on the first day of their trip date. Currently, I have to manually move trips to my own "Client Traveling" status, which can easily lead to oversights. It would also be helpful if there was another automated status like "Trip Completed" or "Client Returned" where the trip is moved on the first day after the last day of the trip.

We need a notification icon (kind of like FB does with the bell) where there is a list of things that clients have responded to such like: *Smith chose an option *Janz authorized payment *Brooks approved trip, etc. It would save time to just have a quick reference instead of just the emails.

When linking relationships in Contacts, especially for families with multiple members, the system should automatically establish reciprocal relationships across all connected profiles. For example, if a primary contact is linked to their spouse and four children, those relationships should be reflected in each individual’s profile as well. This means that the spouse’s profile should show the primary contact as their partner, and each child’s profile should display their parents and siblings accordingly -ensuring that all connections are bidirectional and fully integrated, rather than solely linked to the original contact.

Under the list of travelers on a trip, it would be nice to have a quick indication if we have passports on file for each traveler with a small icon like a P.

OK, so unless I am missing something, if I go to start an email to someone in a group, and I have to leave the page, when I come back whatever I typed is gone and I have to start all over again. I don't see any way to save an email I started, like most, if not all email clients do. If I start typing an email, and need to leave, whatever I typed should stay there.

Hello, it would be nice to have the "+ Add Traveler" Button be much more visible, maybe by highlighting it, making it bigger, etc. I recently designed a form, and since Tern insists on not allowing modifications to your required fields, I was forced to put in a line asking for "Name exactly as it appears on your passport". Because I have no other place to put it, a lot of people skipped over the "+ Add Traveler", so I did not get DOB's and other information I need for ticketing. Please, fix the form fields issue quickly, and in the interim if you can make the Add Traveler button more prominent, that would be great, thank you!

Would be great if there was a Due at Property or Guaranteed instead of paid or unpaid status. So when I'm looking at the payment section, I can see what still needs to be paid and what's due when a client is onsite during their trip.

When a client has many trips within Tern, have the trips be organized chronologically with the first upcoming trip on top with the trip the furthest out on the bottom. Then have past trips be at the very bottom.

Really miss having the trusty “undo” button. It would be so helpful to have an undo button that can be used across the platform, no matter what we’re working on. Especially with the current text editor - undo is so much easier than the way we have to delete.

I would appreciate a landing page in Tern for agents that show a summary of their engagements as a quick way to make sure an agent isn't missing something important. Having a way to set that screen as the default start up screen would help my agents look at that each day for important reminders. That dashboard screen could show things like ... ⦿ upcoming task, ⦿ payments due soon (with drop down for 7 or 14 days), ⦿ recent trip planning that might be dormant (no activity within 7 days), ⦿ authorizations received but not marked paid,
